After Bump Must Haves: Boon Lawn Countertop Drying Rack

There really are not too many things on my “must have” list for parents.  Maybe as Monkey grows this will change, but this is just too cool not to have.

For the last almost six months we have been putting a towel down on the kitchen counter to dry bottles, pumping supplies, etc.  Because items are being dried daily this towel took up residence on the counter.  It would get grotty with other gubbins floating around the counter and just be a general eyesore.

I had seen the Boon Lawn and Flowers in an email promotion (I forget now who) and thought, “That’s kinda neat…” and pressed delete.  Then I was in BuyBuy Baby this week and saw the actual product.  I need to touch and play with things before I am completely sold (well nine times out of ten).  It was $24.99 for the large lawn and $4.99 for each flower.  I had a gift card and a 20% off coupon… why not!

This thing is amazing!  I can hang stuff, push the bottles into the plastic grass, and it looks cute on my counter.

I also like how it dries the bottles better because the air can get all around them verses sitting on a towel.  You can pick up the grass to drain off the water (I haven’t needed to yet, but I also don’t put that much on there and it’s dry here).  You can also get a Twig to use instead or with your Flower.  I think the Flowers are prettier, but everyone is different!

About Emma BL

In the begining, there was just the two of us, then there were furbabies, and then a baby! We started trying to conceive in Nov 2010, but experienced complications and a miscarriage. Finally in April 2012 we welcomed Monkey and Bear joined in 2015. While preggo and trying to become preggo with Monkey, I often hit the web search for information about what is happening to me and I hope that through sharing my experiences, others gain some knowledge. I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on the internet. So take all my experiences and advice with a grain of salt! Now that Monkey and Bear are around and we have made the transition to parents... we try to answer the question "is there life after the baby bump?"
